Cox

Creative Director

As part Cox’s mobile service launch, Cox asked FCB to create a Snapchat lens and filter that would be used to provide awareness for the new brand. This lens would be used in tandem with other marketing for Cox’s regional Superbowl marketing, including an ad for the big game.

Final Snapchat Filter Concept

As part of the lens explorations, the team developed 4 unique gamified experiences to engage users. “What’s Your Big Game Vibe” gave users randomly generated Superbowl personas. “Big Game Guest” used AR to allow users to post photos with Annie, Cox Mobile’s spokesheep. “Jumbotron Photoshoot” prompts users to pose for the camera as if they’re at the stadium. And “Lost & Found” makes users find pieces hidden football gear in an AR experience.

The team also developed 4 filter approaches as part of the explorations, all aligning to Cox Mobile’s strategic message “We’re different because you’re different.”

Snapchat Filter Explorations

The concept chosen by Cox was “What’s Your Big Game Vibe”. The team worked with Snapchat and their development partner to build out the final experience and launch before the big game.
